MARABOU
Marabou is a highly energised blend of Afro, Latin, Dub Reggae and Tribal rhythms that leaves you sweating and always wanting more. Driven by the engine room of hand and stick drumming traditions of West African rhythms, this band is a refreshing explosion of epic jazz melodies, the funk and traditional and modern songs. The multi vocal group has a tight, punchy and highly effervescent horn section; sax, flute and trombone and is accompanied by the classic funk / Afro beat bass, guitar, keyboard combo. Also a few special guests this year on ukulele and nose flute.
