The Rights of Mother Earth with Mihirangi from the Alliance of Mother Nature’s Guardians

  • Indigenous peoples represent over 370 million people from 5000 different groups in more than 70 countries, on five continents, speaking over 4000 languages who all have one truth in common – Indigenous thoughts, wisdoms and philosophies honour the interrelationships between ourselves and Nature.  We acknowledge that ecosystems have a right to exist, thrive and regenerate in preservation of life and Mother Earth.  In 2017 in Brasilia, the first Great Assembly of the AMNG was formed by 200 Indigenous Peoples from around the world who wrote the Rights of Mother Earth.  Mihirangi, of the AMNG’s Executive Committee, is dedicated to addressing the World Governments, the United Nations and humanity to take up Mother Earth as an entity with fundamental rights.
