THE OFFTOPICS

The Offtopics are a 5-piece band playing funky original Rhythm and Blues to make you laugh, dance and clap your hands. They have been referred to as “purveyors of punch-drunk funk, slapstick soul and unsteady rocksteady”. Fronted by a Bengali-Australian funk dynamo, the rest of the band has included a quirky cast of male, female and non-binary musicians from diverse cultures such as Aboriginal, Iranian, Irish and Pinoy playing with artists such as Kylie Auldist, The Ska Vendors, Skazz, The Oxo-Cubans, The Deans of Soul, The Bombay Royale, The Short Order Schefs and Kutcha Edwards and more.
